This spot turned out to be the perfect backdrop for a Thursday night reunion, We landed during happy hour and had our choice of patio seating, a small luxury that immediately set the tone. The menu leans generous: $7 beers and an $8 old-fashioned that, surprisingly, didn’t cut corners. It was balanced, ... spirit-forward, and thoughtfully made, more craft cocktail than discounted afterthought. The happy hour food menu is where things really started to click. We went wide and doubled back often, but two dishes stole the show. The chive cakes, cut into neat cubes and lightly fried, had that addictive chew you’d expect from mochi, paired with the savory familiarity of a scallion pancake. It’s the kind of texture that keeps your chopsticks hovering for “just one more.” The chicken wings followed closely behind: crisp, flavorful, and absolutely worth repeat orders (which we did). When happy hour wrapped, we didn’t. The table shifted into full dinner mode with a lineup that didn’t miss. The crab fried rice came studded with generous chunks of jumbo lump crab, no skimping, no shredding it into oblivion. Each bite carried both wok hei and sweetness from the crab. The sleeper hit of the night was the pork jowl “salad”, though calling it that undersells what’s happening on the plate. It eats more like a full-on pork jowl dish with plenty of lettuce toppings. Equal parts crispy, rich pork and cilantro-laced salad, it delivered an addictive mix of fish sauce, lime, sweetness, and a slow, creeping heat. That said, the chicken pad dong, a curry-spiced chicken breast stir-fry with coriander, onion, and chili, was no slouch. Aromatic and well-balanced, it carried warmth and depth, but felt almost restrained in comparison to the pork jowl. Dessert kept the momentum going. The mango sticky rice delivered exactly what you want, sweet, creamy, and comforting, while the lightly fried pineapple pie, crowned with a generous scoop of ice cream, leaned more indulgent. One thing worth noting: there’s a clear love for crispy textures across the menu, from the chive cakes to even a crispy pad Thai variation with fried noodle chunks. And yet, despite how much of the meal leaned fried, it never tipped into that weighed-down, regret-heavy territory. Indulgent, yes, but not punishing. This isn’t health food, but it doesn’t pretend to be. Paired dessert with half-off bottle of Pinot noir, a Thursday special. Service deserves a nod: Sarah kept things moving without hovering. All told, every dish hit, which is rarer than it should be. Pineapple Thai delivers where it counts, flavor, texture, and a relaxed setting that works just as well for catching up as it does for casual date nights. It’s the kind of place you don’t overthink, you just go back. Read More

Super Thai food! Great taste and pricing is affordable despite exquisite-looking ambience. Every dish was very well done. Will definitely be back. They have happy hour dishes too (I think 4-6pm).
